Anyone witness one of the Heroic Six Axe "gigs" ? Very entertaining.
According to one very reliable report the barmaid at the Churchills gig begged to be sentupstairs to work whils Piggy and Dennis and co were performing. She got her wish, too. It was a novel and brave approach to music though....so hats off to the guys....and it proves that music isn't always as bad as it sounds ;)
Not sure if it is common knowledge (as I have only just found out) that Acker died awhile ago. Does anyone know anymore about this sad news?
